  • Day 1: Göncruszka – Vizsoly – Boldogkőváralja
A stop at the apiary of the Reformed congregation, which we will visit with an expert guide. Lunch at Tejjel Mézzel (Milk and Honey) Restaurant, followed by a visit at another bee farm and its history in Vizsoly. Boldogkőváralja: let's head to the castle, around which orchards of Gönc apricot pamper fruit lovers. You will have dinner at BESTILLO Pálinka House, where you can taste local syrups, jams, donuts and premium fruit juice in addition to the pálinka tasting. During the guided tour of the brewery, you will not only get an idea of how pálinka is made but also of dedication and love for the motherland.

  • Day 2: Telkibánya - Pányok
At Trófeás Guesthouse, you can get to know the wildlife of the area and the lesson then continues on the field. You'll take a half-day excursion, where the lead role is played by the seasonally found mushrooms, flowers, and plants. Lunch in Telkibánya and then in the afternoon you will learn about the methods of folk medicine: how to make tinctures and herbal teas using ingredients found in the area. Your day ends with a hearty dinner from the oven. In case of clear weather, you can hunt stars and have a mini lesson of the sky in an environment free from light pollution.

  • Day 3: Telkibánya
In the spirit of slow tourism, you can discover your micro-environment: Telkibánya offers an endless array of natural discoveries. During today’s cave trip you can get familiar with such protected animal species as the Pannonian blue slug and the horseshoe bat. Lunch in Telkibánya and then departure back home.
