Beekeeping and pottery have long been practiced by our ancestors for ages. They learned to use the power of nature and the hard work of bees, as well as the material from the bowels of the earth. Let us lead you to these clever people who have decided to make a living from honest craftsmanship.

Discover the alchemy of honey production. In the small village of Opátka you will visit a local beekeeper with his family on their bee farm. You will learn all about the life of bees in their busy hive, how honey is spun and you will even be able to make your very own candle from fragrant beeswax. Of course, you will also taste the rare amber delicacy - genuine and special bee honey.

After honey, you’ll meet clay - at a pottery workshop in Košice, where clay treasures are created under the skilful hands of an experienced master. Roll up your sleeves, because the meeting will be much more than just visual! You will try to coordinate a potter's wheel with the spinning clay which turns into a bowl, mug, or vase under the touch of your hands. Your patience will be tested when decorating clay items in any way you could ever think of.
