  • Day 2: Panyola
The enterprise called Panyolium was founded by a young couple who did not want to leave but wished to stay and pass on the tradition. Following ancient methods, the fruits are prepared and dried by hand. They show you around the plant, and while you listen to the old stories, you can taste what they offer to you. During the season you can also get involved in traditional jam making. Families make the black gold of Szatmár without stopping for at least one day. In the late afternoon you are welcome at the pálinka distillery of Panyolai Szilvórium with a guided brewing demonstration, tasting and dinner of Szatmár dishes.
